The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has issued an urgent alert to government entities regarding a critical vulnerability found in WatchGuard Firebox firewalls. Attackers leverage this security gap by exploiting an out-of-bounds write flaw within Fireware OS versions 11.x (which is now end-of-life), 12.x, and 2025.1.
